Bortles has a matchup against a Baltimore secondary that has a huge coverage weakness in Shareece Wright. Add that to the fact that Bortles is throwing a ton of vertical passes and it gives him a slight edge over Wilson. -- KC@ESPNFantasy Cameron Artis Payne or Mckinnon?? #StartSitEspn- Pj Salone (@Salone212) September 25, 2016The issue in starting Artis-Payne is that he could end up splitting carries with Fozzy Whittaker or losing goal-line carries to Mike Tolbert. McKinnon could lose goal-line carries to Matt Asiata, but he doesnt have the same split carry risk factor on other carries. That gives McKinnon a more guaranteed path to workload upside and gives him the nod over Artis-Payne. -- KC#StartSitESPN Tevin Coleman or Jeremy Langford at RB2 PPR scoring- Edward Lewin ll (@_lew9) September 25, 2016Langford ranked last in 2015 in my good blocking yards per attempt (GBYPA) metric that measures how productive a ball carrier is when given good run blocking. The problem for Langford is this year his 5.9 GBYPA this year is even lower than his 6.6 GBYPA last year. That may cause Chicago to give more workload to Jordan Howard, as his 7.3 GBYPA is a step up. Coleman is splitting carries with Freeman, but is being heavily utilized on passing plays, so he is the better start option this week. -- KC#StartSitESPN Eli Manning or Derek Carr?- Austin Dubberly (@austin_dubs) September 25, 2016This is a very close call. Eli Manning has upside versus the Washington secondary, but the Redskins defense has allowed a 48.1 percent good blocking rate (GBR) this season. GBR measures how often a defense allows an offense to give its ball carriers quality run blocking, and that total is the worst in the league. This should make the Giants lean on their ground game more often and gives Manning an upside cap that Carr doesnt have in his matchup, so Carr would be the selection here. -- KCBrandon Marshall or Christine Michael at the flex in my PPR league. no points for rushing attempts. #StartSitESPN- Josh F (@ECUJoshua) September 25, 2016Marshall is reportedly going to be on a snap count this week while recovering from an injury. Rivers?- Ashley Kotik (@AshKotik1111) September 25, 2016Rivers is facing an Indianapolis secondary that is beset with injuries that could cause their top three cornerbacks to miss this game. Those ailments do give Rivers strong QB1 upside, but Drew Brees is in a matchup against Atlanta that will almost certainly be one of the highest-scoring games of the week. Since Rivers could have the downside of San Diego leaning on its ground game (something the Chargers want to do as much as possible), Brees is the higher percentage option this week. -- KCIn the flex: Stefon Diggs or Eddie Lacy? #StartSitESPN @ESPNFantasy- Sean Corrigan (@Sean_Corryy) September 25, 2016Diggs did a fantastic job last week with Sam Bradford under center and should be able to mimic that performance against a Carolina secondary that has struggled at times this year. Yeldon? #StartSitESPN- Mill (@willfriday2435) September 25, 2016A major factor in why Yeldon has not produced quality fantasy numbers this year despite being the Jaguars go-to back in Weeks 1 and 2 is that the Jaguars rate dead last in the league in my GBR metric. The Bengals arent doing as well in GBR as they did last year, but their 38.2 percent total is a huge step above Jacksonvilles 20.6 percent mark. Add that to Chris Ivory returning and taking a large part of Yeldons workload and it gives Hill the edge in this one. -- KC#StartSitESPN DeVante Parker or Mike Wallace at WR- amy fredrickson (@amykent23) September 25, 2016The Jaguars secondary ranks tied for 30th in points allowed per game to opposing wide receivers (30.5). Parkers matchup against the Browns does look to be nearly as favorable, as Cleveland has allowed 27 points per game to opponents wide receivers, but Parker also comes into this game with an injury status of questionable. Mike Wallace was not listed on the injury report, so he wins this start-sit battle. -- KCPanthers D or try Dolphins D against the Browns and Kessler? #StartSitESPN- Kevin Prentice (@KevinCPrentice) September 25, 2016After the way Sam Bradford and Stefon Diggs played last week, it would be best to avoid starting any defense against the Vikings. The Browns rank 24th in GBR and are changing their quarterback for the third consecutive game this season. Its easy to like Colemans contributions in the passing phase and this inviting matchup, but without much evidence as to his role in goal-line scenarios, Im not sure his ceiling is nearly as high as Gurleys. Of the top 20 tight ends in targets, Fleeners average air yards per target is second at 12.4, which means there is some big-play potential present if he can connect with Brees. If Snead is ruled out, as is a possibility given the information above, maybe we see that target share continue.
