With the Cleveland Cavaliers level with the Toronto Raptors after four games and the Golden State Warriors 2-1 down to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who will go through to the NBA Finals? Alex Ferguson answers the questions.Whats happened? If you want an NBA Conference Finals set of pure craziness, then go no further than both the Golden State vs Oklahoma City and Cleveland vs Toronto series which will decide the winners of the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively. Both Golden State and Cleveland were meant to win their series pretty comfortably, with Cleveland especially anticipated to have no trouble with the Raptors whatsoever. The amount of US media that used the words its over when Cleveland pummelled the Raptors to go 2-0 up was astonishing. Since then its been one-way traffic, and not in the way of LeBron James and Co. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors goes up against Steven Adams of the Oklahoma City Thunder With Golden State and Oklahoma City, its been a weird series. Golden State had a comfortable lead in Game 1, blew it, and then lost the game on a controversial travelling call, where many believed Oklahoma Citys Russell Westbrook had taken too many steps.Golden State roared back to take Game 2 comfortably, and you thought the end was nigh for Kevin Durant, Westbrook and Co. Well, theyve beaten the Spurs already, you thought, give them their due until next time. Well, Oklahoma City werent quite ready to walk yet, smashing Golden State by 28 points in Game 3 and battering the Warriors on both ends of the glass - despite Steph Curry still dropping nearly 30 of his own.A quick shout-out must go to The Thunders Steven Adams, who took what looked like a legitimate kick to the groin from Draymond Green in Game 4. He played on. Cory Joseph of the Toronto Raptors shoots against James So what should we watch out for in the pivotal next games? It might sound stupid bearing in mind they are 2-1 up but Oklahoma City, who have a reputation of being NBA chokers, have to win Game 4 on Tuesday night. You might say but that means that the series is still tied, but if youre 2-1 up against Golden State and have beaten them more times than most teams beat them in the regular season, you have to be aggressive and go for the jugular in Game 4. Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder drives against Curry If Durant and Westbrook are consistent (Westbrook cant have the 16-point game he had in Game 2 or the awful start he had in Game 1), then its going to scare Golden State, for whom only Curry is really firing properly. The Thunder will try to annoy the volatile Green, who was awful in Game 3 but will be hell-bent on revenge. As for Golden State, they have to keep feeding the ball to Curry and Klay Thompson.Thompson has got to get back into it, after not-great back-to-back games, where he failed to hit the 20-point mark.In Cleveland, the Cavs cant look at it as two opportunities lost, because Toronto were actually a very good home team, losing only nine games in the Air Canada Centre all season long. But although James was his usual excellent self in both the away games, Kyrie Irving was dreadful in Game 3 and only rebounded slightly in Game 4. Joseph of the Toronto Raptors guards Kyrie Irving And the poorest of the lot has been Kevin Love who managed 13 total points in Toronto, and has been atrocious from three-point range - which was meant to be a strength of his. Love has to get his offensive game together to be a good enough foil for James and Irving for the Cavs to stop this series going to seven games, which is really the last thing they want after being 2-0 up.So whos going to win the pivotal games?I think Game 4 is going to be won by Oklahoma City which is going to put the Warriors within one game of elimination, and I think Cleveland take Game 5 at home on Wednesday night. And whos my tip to win the Conference Finals?(Deep Breath): Ill go Golden State in seven games and Cleveland in seven games. The home side created most of the chances but struggled to break down Braunschweigs resilient defence, resulting in the Bundesligas 1,000th scoreless draw.Boise State finds itself in the favorites role when it comes to landing the coveted New Years Six bowl bid that goes to the top team that isnt associated with a power conference. The No. 13 Broncos (7-0, 3-0 Mountain West) only have two bona fide hurdles left to clear and one of them is when they visit Wyoming (5-2, 3-0) on Saturday in the 7,220-foot altitude of Laramie (7 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network).A loss to the Cowboys would be painful and could even prevent Boise State from playing in the conference title game. But Broncos coach Bryan Harsin is worried about more than that aspect. He is fixated on getting his offense to avoid miscues as Boise State committed five turnovers while surviving against BYU and pulling out a 28-27 victory on a blocked field goal last Thursday. You could say we were lucky, or you could say we persevered, Harsin said at a press conference. Nobody folded. They all worked hard and found a way to win. We are 7-0. We found the way to win.A big factor in Boise States undefeated season has been the play of junior running back Jeremy McNichols, who has carried the ball a whopping 70 times over the past two games.McNichols has rushed for 915 yards -- sixth nationally -- and 12 touchdowns. He also has four receiving scores, including a 76-yard catch-and-run touchdown against BYU.McNichols production has been so superb that Harsin sees no reason to lessen his workload.Jeremy has shown that he wants the ball in his hands, Harsin said. He wants a chance to win the game. He continues to improve. Hes versatile, and a guy like him, you want the ball in his hands.McNichols is on pace to top the 1,337 rushing yards -- sixth-most in Boise State history -- that he put up last season. The school record is 1,823 in 2014 by Jay Ajayi, who is fresh off posting back-to-back 200-yard rushing games for the NFLs Miami Dolphins.Wyoming features its own stellar running back in junior Brian Hill, who is one of just two players nationally to exceed 1,000 rushing yards. Hill has rushed for 1,010 yards and 11 touchdowns after producing 289 yards and three scores in last Saturdays 42-34 victory over Nevada.Hills 289-yard effort was the second-best single-game output in school history. He is Wyomings all-time leading rusher with 33,437 yards.ddddddddddddBrian really showed his skill, Wyoming coach Craig Bohl said during a press conference. Hes got some great vision combined with speed. He was elusive, but I think the biggest thing was he was relentless. It was a phenomenal dayYou never want to make it an individual performance, but I think we need to note he was exceptional. The Cowboys are also receiving solid production from sophomore quarterback Josh Allen and senior receiver Tanner Gentry. Allen has accounted for 15 touchdowns (10 passing, five rushing) and Gentry has 38 receptions for 612 yards and five scores.Wyomings suspect defense is allowing 30.3 points per game. Sophomore free safety Andrew Wingard has a team-best 75 tackles while sophomore strong safety Marcus Epps and sophomore cornerback Antonio Hull each have three interceptions.Boise State should be able to move the ball against the Cowboys but the big issue will be the turnover margin. The Broncos have forced only three turnovers this season -- fewest in the nation. And those five miscues against BYU included two interceptions returned for touchdowns. The propensity to turn the ball over greatly irritates Harsin. The turnovers have got to stop, Harsin said. Thats one big thing. Even in defeat we talk about turnovers all the time, so were going to talk about them in victory as well. That doesnt change. We have a standard and weve gotten three this year and given up 11. Thats not a good ratio for us in the turnover category. Were certainly aware of that and it needs to change.Sophomore quarterback Brett Rypien passed for 442 yards and three touchdowns versus BYU to raise his season totals to 2,064 passing yards and 15 touchdowns.Senior receiver Thomas Sperbeck is enjoying a superb campaign with 47 receptions for 810 yards and seven touchdowns. He is the schools record-holder with 3,139 career receiving yards after passing Titus Young (3,063 from 2007-10) during the BYU contest.Sophomore nose tackle David Moa is excelling on defense and has recorded a team-best 6.5 sacks. He also saved the victory over BYU by blocking a 44-yard field goal with 10 seconds left. ' ' '
