New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has reportedly signed a contract extension which will keep him at the team through 2019. According to ESPNs Adam Schefter, four-time Super Bowl winner Brady, who turns 39 in August, has agreed a two-year extension to his existing contract, keeping him with the franchise for four more seasons.It means that Brady could still be playing at the very highest level at 42 years old, in what would also be the quarterbacks 20th year in the NFL, also making him the fourth player in NFL history to play 20 or more seasons with the one team. The financial side of the agreement is unclear at this stage, although Brady has a $9m guaranteed salary for 2016 and $10m in 2017 on his current contract.
