Sadler was the hitting hero for the Goldeyes with three hits in six trips, two solo homers, three runs scored and two driven in. Mazzola went three-for-four with two RBI; and Scoma, who is now hitting .348, went two-for-three with three walks and a run scored. Kaohi Downing (1-4, 2.95 ERA) got his first win of the season for the Goldeyes with 1 1/3 innings of shutout baseball, including getting out of a jam in the bottom of the 10th inning with runners on second and third. Keating (2.63 ERA) earned his ninth save. Nunez (0-1, 9.00 ERA) suffered the loss for Quebec.
